The Scouts find a nearby tent, where inside awaits the Guardian of the Grail
(actually, one of the Pack parents in costume):

The Grail Knight sits beside a locked chest, the key to which is hidden from view of the Scouts
somewhere on the Knight’s costume. Sitting on an altar table behind the Knight are 24 different goblets
of all shapes and sizes. After all the Scouts file in, the Knight speaks:
 
KNIGHT
What is your challenge?

As instructed on Sir Richard's shield, the Scouts must now challenge the Grail Knight to a memory game.
If they forgot and challenge the Knight to anything else, the Knight must respond as follows:
 
KNIGHT
I cannot accept that challenge.

 
When the Scouts correctly challenge the Knight to a memory game, the Knight responds as follows:
 
KNIGHT
I accept your challenge. In order to find the Holy Grail you must find the key that unlocks this chest. 
We will play a matching game. Two Scouts at a time shall approach the altar. 
Each of you will choose a cup, lift it up and check underneath. 
You must find the two cups that have matching keys on the table underneath them.
If your cups do not hide matching keys, you must place them back down and step away from the table. 
Then next two Scouts will take their turn and each will choose a cup to check beneath. 
You must not give up until you have found the matching keys. 
Pay careful attention, for your memory is what you must rely upon to complete this challenge.
