Advancement Camp 2024

It's Advancement Camp time!

For those who are new, this is a fun 2-night camping trip where we work through a lot of requirements towards our rank advancement (hence the name). Each rank will have a specialized list of activities to work on during the day on Saturday tailored to their requirements. On Saturday night we will have a campfire at the fire ring to celebrate all the work our scouts did to earn 2-4 new blet loops! We will be camping in tents (or under the stars if you prefer), so families should bring their own gear (tent, sleeping bag, mats, bug spray, etc.) Food will be served in the lodge; Ben McIntosh will be our chef for the weekend so we won’t have to cook our own food (though he will need some help in the kitchen). This is not a mandatory event, but it is a great way to get a lot of requirements completed so we really encourage everyone to attend. It promises to be memorable and fun!
