About the event

For our August "hike," we're doing something a little different and visiting the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing in Agoura Hills! We have a guided tour set up for Pack 311 on Saturday, August 23rd at 8am.

The crossing is being built over the 101 to help mountain lions, bobcats, deer, and other wildlife safely move between the Santa Monica Mountains and Simi Hills. When completed next year, it will be the largest wildlife crossing in the world. This is a unique chance to see it while it’s still in progress!

The tour lasts about an hour and includes a short, mostly flat walk. While we won’t walk on the bridge itself, we’ll get a great view of it and learn about local wildlife, conservation efforts, and the project’s history and design. Learn more about the bridge and tour HERE.
