About the event
Here is the general itinerary:
8:00 - Check in at Ventura Harbor at the Island Packers Building (the ferry transportation)
9:00 - Ferry departure
10:15 - Arrival on Santa Cruz Island
10:30 - Free time to explore the hiking trails, have your lunch, explore the Visitor’s Center, relax on the beach, or snorkel
12:30 - Meet with your guides where we provide all gear for kayaking, and storage to place your items while we are on the water
1:15-1:30- We get on the water and begin about 1-1.5hrs of kayaking through the sea caves, island coastline, and kelp beds
2:45-3:00- Get off water, change from the tour and get your belongings
3:00-4:00- More free time on the island to explore
4:00-4:30 - Begin boarding your return ferry
4:30 – Ferry Departs from Santa Cruz Island
5:30-6:00pm - Arrive back in Ventura Harbor
Cost will be about $170 per child under 12 and about $195 per adult
